Optimus Health Care Inc., formerly Bridgeport Community Health Center, Inc., is the largest provider of primary health care services in Southwestern Connecticut. We have service delivery sites located at Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) designated neighborhoods of the cities of Bridgeport and Stamford and the Town of Stratford. We are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Organization.

The Optimus Health Care Inc. is a 501(c) (3) organization. As a non-profit organization we operate through the patient revenues, the generous support of the community, and grant dollars from the federal, state and local government bodies, from private and public foundations. All patient revenues are used for the actual cost of health care. Optimus Health Care Inc. accepts most health insurances including Medicaid, Medicare, HUSKY and most private insurances.

We are a federally qualified health center under the Public Health Service Act Section 330 (e). This qualifies us to receive federal funding support to provide health care services to the uninsured and underserved population within our designated service areas.
