The Optimus Health Care, Inc.’s mental health program provides

• psychiatric assessments/evaluations,
• psychopharmacology,
• clinical case management, and
• individual and family therapy

Our mental health services are integrated into our medical practice. This is ensured by a single unified chart, co-location of medical and mental health providers, and mental health staff often starts patient’s treatment with primary care providers. Clients may self-refer or a primary care provider may refer an adult to our mental health providers.  The nature of the work is short term, focused, and behaviorally oriented.  Optimus’ Mental health program is an on-site program located at East Main-Barnum campus. BCHC’s licensed social workers provide part-time services at Stratford Community Health and Park City Primary Care. Some patients are referred to the main clinic and/or community resources. Also, Stamford has a contracted Psychiatrist one day a week and refers to community resources.
