We also offer the following services within our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department:
- Domestic Violence and Parental Depression Screening and Intermediate Care Program
Supported by the CT Department of Public Health and the March of Dimes, CT Chapter, Optimus Health Care, Inc. is able to offer screening programs on domestic violence and prenatal depression for all women having their prenatal care at our East Main location. The screenings include standardized self-administered questionnaires and patient education on these two risk factors to pregnancy, birth outcomes and women’s health. Women identified to be at high-risk or dealing with domestic violence and/or prenatal depression are provided intermediate care by a Prenatal Care Specialist which includes care coordination and referral, patient education, and follow-up throughout the pregnancy and up to one year post-partum.

- Birthing Classes
Optimus Health Care also provides birthing classes once a month at the following locations:
East Main Street: Thursdays 9 – 10 AM
Park City Primary Care Center: Wednesdays 6 – 7 PM
